Hi! My name is Juanita. I’m 59 years old and have been married to the same man, Bob, for 40 years. We have two beautiful daughters and 2 precious granddaughters.
Most of my married life has been spent in or around my hometown of Bellaire, Ohio. I had the most wonderful childhood with loving parents and 3 brothers.
I met my husband Bob in 1958. He’s a year older than I am. We dated throughout our high school years with the exception of my senior year. That’s the year Bob “sowed his wild oats”. LOL We were married in 1963.
I’ve had a married life filled with illness, domestic violence, financial problems, and heartbreak, but “through it all”, one thing has remained constant…My faith in my Heavenly Father. Without Him, I don’t know where I would be today.
In 1988, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. With the love and support of my family, I continue to face each day with whatever comes along, leaning on the everlasting arms of God.
I hope you will visit the pages dedicated to my family. Click on the button below to read more about me, my likes, hobbies, and causes.
God bless you!
Music by Bill Gaither, Lyrics by Gloria Gaither
If there ever were dreams
That were lofty and noble,
Those were my dreams at the start;
And the hopes for life’s best
Were the hopes that I harbored
Down deep in my heart.
But my dreams turned to ashes.
My castles all crumbled.
My fortune turned to loss.
So I wrapped them all
In the rags of my life,
And I laid them at that old cross.
All my confusion
All I had to offer him
Was brokenness and strife,
But he made something beautiful
Of my life.
